Reaching the Conference Site
SIBE 2025 takes place in ESMUC which is inside Auditori de Barcelona building in carrer Padilla, 155. The phone number of the school is +34 933 523 011
How to arrive to ESMUC from Barcelona-El Prat airport
- By taxi. It should cost about 35€ (cash or credit card), and the travel is about 30 minutes depending on the traffic.
- Uber or Cabify, they cost a few euros less but they have to be reserved at least 15 minutes before.
Other options from El Prat airport (1 hour or more)
- Aerobus is a very good option to go from the airport to Barcelona - Plaça Espanya : it costs 7,25€ and then it's possible to pick the metro (underground) to Marina (Line 1).
- Renfe train, from Terminal 2 (there’s a bus connecting Terminal 1 and 2) to Barcelona-Sants Estació and then pick another train to Barcelona - Arc de Triomf. This is the cheapest option (5,05€) but also the slowest and less reliable.
- Metro it’s quite slow but it’s the easyest combination: with L9sud - from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to Torrassa station and then change to Line 1 up to Marina. You can buy tickets in the station https://www.tmb.cat/en/barcelona-fares-metro-bus

If you arrive by car, and you do not have parking service at your accommodation, there is a parking in the basement of the building in carrer Padilla, 157 called “Parking BSM Plaça de les Arts” and costing 21€ each day (please check rates).
How to move inside Barcelona and the surroundings
- Bus, Metro (undergroud), Tram and short travels with Renfe or FGC trains are included in many of the tickets offered, starting from 18,10€ for 48hours. https://www.tmb.cat/en/barcelona-fares-metro-bus
- Bicycle is a very good option if you plan to stay more days. While “Bicing” is a service for Barcelona citizens only, they are a number of options of private bicycles that can be rented with prices about 50€ for one month.
